Description
Charles Amirkhanian speaks with Stanley Shaff and Douglas McEachern about their creation, AUDIUM, a Theater in Sound located in San Francisco, California. This interview, one of the first done by Amirkhanian, who joined KPFA on 8 July 1969, honors two of the most innovative pioneers of modern spatial music. Shaff, who celebrated his 75th birthday on February 14, 2004, was a featured composer at Other Minds Festival 10, which took place in San Francisco March 4-5-6 of 2004, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
