Description
Charles Amirkhanian speaks with Stanley Shaff and Douglas McEachern about their creation, AUDIUM, a Theater in Sound located in San Francisco, California. This interview, one of the first done by Amirkhanian, who joined KPFA on July 8, 1969, honors two of the most innovative pioneers of modern spatial music. Shaff, who celebrated his 75th birthday on February 14, 2004, was a featured composer at Other Minds Festival 10, which took place in San Francisco March 4-5-6 of 2004, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
