Description
The 1981 New Music America Festival took place at San Francisco's Japan Center Theater and hosted a week full of concerts, sound installations, and multi-media performances. The first concert on Sunday June 7, featured works by Paul DeMarinis, Maggi Payne, Stuart Dempster, Leo Smith and Bobby Naughton Duo, and Terry Allen.

The fourth performance features Leo Smith and Bobby Naughton in an improvisation for trumpet and percussion.
